Marie Rottschaefer is currently in her 5th year of Penn State's Architectural Engineering program. She will graduate in May 2018, earning an integrated Bachelor/Master Architectural Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical systems design.

 

On campus, Marie is a member of Penn State student branch of ASHRAE, and she works 30 hours a week as a bartender and server at Whisker's Lounge in the Nittany Lion Inn. From 2015 to 2017, Marie also worked at Penn State's Office of Physical Plant as a project management intern. Over the course of two years, she participated in projects from design to construction.

 

This past summer, Marie worked at JVP Engineers as a mechanical design intern. She worked on many different projects, including public schools and medical facilities.

Outside of studies and work, Marie enjoys traveling, cooking, and live music. In the summer of 2016, Marie studied abroad in Rome, Italy as part of the Sedi di Roma program.

Upon graduation, Marie is looking forward to continuing her career as a mechanical design engineer.
